A chemist and biochemist by training, Len Monheit has been in the industry for over 20 years, initially as a cofounder of digital media leader NPIcenter, sold in 2006 to New Hope Natural Media (now Informa). As part of New Hope’s senior leadership team, Len assumed responsibility for digital media operations, and the ingredient portfolio of Functional Ingredients, Engredea, and the Nutracon conference, initiating international market preparation workshops in Japan, China and India. Len’s role evolved to include market and trend analysis as part of Nutrition Business Journal and the NEXT insights platform. Len has guided global ingredient, supplement and natural product companies on strategy and is a sought after speaker on multiple continents on topics. Len is currently Executive Director of the Global Prebiotic Association, active in leadership and stewardship of exciting health ingredient categories as CEO of Ingredient Transparency Center (ITC) the producers of the ITC insights program.
